The Florida Mon Valley Gathering was held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Whiskey Joe’s on Courtney Campbell Causeway, Tampa.
The former organizer dropped the ball without informing anyone, so it was put together at the last moment by Charleroi-native Mona Lisa Spirko and several helpers.
It came off without a hitch and was a great event.
Yes, Lou Sepe is alive and attended the Gathering.

Despite some challenges, the 42nd annual Mon Valley Florida Reunion is officially set for Feb. 25 in Tampa. The event, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Whiskey Joe’s Bar and Grill, is back after not being held in 2022 due to COVID concerns. This year’s iteration is being spearheaded by Charleroi-native Mona Lisa Spirko.
