Marlene Caseber Heaps

We received an email from Dave Burya today with the following sad news.

Marlene Heaps, age 82, of Debary, Florida, passed away Monday, April 3, 2023 at DeBary Health and Rehab Center in DeBary, Florida. Marlene was born June 09, 1940 in Venetia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Phillip and Lorraine Caesber. Marlene moved to Fern Park in 1957. She graduated from Lyman High School in Longwood FL and retired from the Seminole County School Board, where she was an administrative assistant. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren and they all enjoyed family outings especially boating, fishing, and the beach. She also enjoyed league bowling a couple days a week. Marlene is survived by two daughters, Barbara Heaps and Ida Heaps ; five grandchildren, Brittney Heaps, Ashley Heaps, Amber Greene, Andrea Greene, and Austin Greene; and two siblings, Phyllis Capponi and Bernie (Betty) Caesber. She is preceded in death by the love of her life Richard, who passed away in 2012, and two sons, David Heaps and Ronald Heaps. Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home was in charge.
