Lois E. Williams, 84, of Canton Ohio, formerly of Monongahela, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, in Country Care Manor, Fayette City. She was born April 19, 1940, in Speers, daughter of John and Lois Gailey Williams. Lois was a 1958 graduate of Monongahela High School. She was a member of the Monongahela Turners Club, where she excelled in gymnastics and participated in numerous competitions. She was formerly employed at Combustion Engineering in East Monongahela. She then moved to Canton, Ohio, where she spent the next 40 years employed by GMAC. After moving back to Pennsylvania, she became a member of Park Baptist Church in McKeesport. Lois enjoyed dancing, swimming, traveling and going to concerts. She is survived by three sisters, Linda Curcio of New Eagle, Claire Shearer of West Newton and Rita Lenzi of New Eagle; brother-inlaw, Steve Timko of Monongahela; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Janis Ryschlinski, Jeanne Williams and Laurie Timko; and two brothers, Jack and Sam Williams. Private visitations and funeral service were held at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., Monongahela. Lois was laid to rest in the Williams family plot in Monongahela Cemetery.
